Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Personnel Manager to join the team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive military personnel, manpower, and administrative support to ensure compliance with Air Force and Space Force regulations. This role manages performance reports, assignment cycles, civilian and military personnel actions, records management, manpower documentation, and coordination with various base agencies to support mission readiness and organizational effectiveness.

 

This Task Order (TO) provides the MilComm & PNT Directorate with a broad range of acquisition capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, operations, and maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities. In execution of the requirements within this PWS, outputs may take the form of, but are not limited to, information, expertise, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, processes to eliminate waste, standardizing best practices, reducing cycle times/cost of doing business, and/or recommendations to complement the Government’s organic resources in accomplishing its mission.

Responsibilities

  • Track military performance reports, feedback forms, promotion forms, stratification actions, and force shaping documentation.

  • Prepare and submit stratification packages and support force shaping boards (RIF, TERA, VSP, ESERB).

  • Notify raters of due dates, conduct quality checks, and submit performance reports on time.

  • Track initial and mid-term feedback requirements and notify raters accordingly.

  • Update weekly and monthly manpower and personnel status charts and report delays or issues.

  • Maintain personnel files, updating records with signed performance reports and SURFs.

  • Monitor officer promotion boards and force shaping boards; identify eligible members; prepare and quality-check packages; submit to FSS.

  • Submit duty title updates and changes of reporting officials; monitor personnel database updates and identify discrepancies.

  • Maintain unit personnel management rosters, organizational charts, unit manning documents, and other manpower records.

  • Track and support Individual Mobilization Augmentees; coordinate with the IMA Administrator and ensure compliance with applicable guidance.

  • Monitor assignment cycle boards; notify leadership of requisition timelines; prepare and submit requisition forms or reclamas.

  • Analyze current and projected manning and conduct manpower studies to support resource planning.

  • Support civilian personnel processes by identifying vacancies, preparing RPAs, completing waivers, drafting CPDs, and updating MCRs.

  • Coordinate special civilian manpower actions, such as reimbursable requests, superior qualifications, by-name requests, and position designations.

  • Support interview boards by securing locations, assembling materials, scheduling sessions, and tracking actions.

  • Create and maintain organizational charts, mission descriptions, recall rosters, and telephone directories; consolidate and submit required rosters.

  • Perform duties as Functional Area Records Manager; train custodians; ensure AFRIMS accuracy; conduct staff assistance visits; ensure compliance with records guidance.

  • Manage publications and forms updates, modifications, and creation in coordination with the base manager.

  • Support FOIA responses and ensure Privacy Act compliance.

  • Submit phone directory updates; manage in/out-processing checklists; brief new personnel.

  • Conduct daily mail runs, picking up and delivering accountable mail and packages across the installation.

  • Use government vehicles as authorized, following required insurance and procedural guidelines.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation: High School Diploma

Years of Experience: High School Diploma plus seven (7) years of directly related experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's DegreeYears of Experience: Three(3) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline
