Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Lead performance engineering initiatives for mission-critical banking applications using OpenText LoadRunner Cloud (LRC), LoadRunner Professional, and Dynatrace.
• Define performance testing strategies, workload models, capacity planning, and non-functional requirements to ensure application scalability and reliability.
• Design, develop, and optimize performance test scripts using VuGen, Web HTTP/HTML, TruClient, REST APIs, SOAP Services, Kafka, and MQ protocols.
• Execute large-scale load, stress, endurance, and spike testing, while integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana, conduct root cause analysis, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Validate performance across retail banking, digital banking, payments, loan processing, core banking, treasury, and credit card platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, development, infrastructure, and business teams to present performance findings and drive optimization initiatives.
• Lead onsite/offshore performance testing teams, mentor engineers, establish testing standards, and champion continuous performance improvement practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Define and lead performance testing and performance engineering strategies for enterprise banking applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and capacity readiness.
• Design workload models, test scenarios, and performance test plans based on business and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner Cloud, LoadRunner Professional, VuGen, REST APIs, SOAP, TruClient, Kafka, and MQ protocols.
• Execute large-scale load, stress, endurance, and spike tests, and analyze application behavior under peak transaction volumes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Grafana, and perform end-to-end root cause analysis of performance bottlenecks.
• Provide performance tuning recommendations across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab, establishing automated performance validation and quality gates.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to review results, resolve issues, and improve system performance.
• Present performance findings, risks, and optimization recommendations to senior management and project leadership.
• Lead and mentor onsite/offshore performance testing teams, review deliverables, enforce testing standards, and drive continuous performance improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 a year
