About the role: Serves as an integral member of the Operational Performance Team responsible for managing contract compliance and financial performance in our Operations locations. Reports to and supports the Senior Director of Performance by managing activities associated with assigned location operational performance. This includes setting and analyzing KPI's, performing financial analysis, performing process and operations analysis, and creating meaningful action plans tied to measurable financial outcomes. This individual is responsible for managing multiple simultaneous location and corporate projects and acting as the cross-functional project manager for assigned projects. In addition, this individual is responsible for any activity associated with the improvement of operational performance and driving an environment of operational excellence, including acting as a trainer for our Performance Management Model and the Transdev Operations Management system.

Salary range $104,000-$130,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as Transdev Operations Management (TOM) liaison to field locations and corporate support departments, including providing training and performing financial and operational analysis based on our Performance Management Model (PMM), P&L statement, and PowerBi reporting.
  • Provides written action plans prioritized in order of financial and contractual impact including both the measurable objectives and the specific actions needed to achieve those objectives for all activities.
  • Leads and assists in activities necessary for achieving performance and profitability targets.
  • Integrates and supports Lean implementation in process development.
  • Produces, implements, and manages processes designed to improve overall performance.
  • Provides business analysis and on-site support to operating locations to drive operational improvements impacting performance in areas of contract compliance, service delivery and financial performance.
  • Reviews operational performance using available reports in PowerBi and data exported in a CSV format, determines opportunities for enterprise-scale improvements and local performance reviews, and initiates cross-functional performance evaluations.
  • Provides analysis of operational data to formulate recommended changes for operational improvement.
  • Provides various levels of training to location management and staff on best practices and localized tools.
  • Plans and oversees location operational reviews, ensuring locations are following company policies and procedures, contractual service level agreements, providing financial analysis of results to expectations, and are compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred:
    • Minimum of 3 years financial or business analyst experience, or
    • Minimum 3 years of operational transportation experience

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Build trust in the field with local staff through integrity, respect, and effective communication.
  • Possess strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately with little direct supervision.
  • Aptitude to think creatively and strategically to anticipate changing requirements and serve as a change agent within the organization.

  • Capability to solve problems in a practical and pragmatic manner.
  • Ability to manage a project, set deadlines, establish KPI's and goals.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities with and to identify urgent and critical priorities for the business.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel, including import and export functions.
  • Proficient with Project management software, preferably with Microsoft Planner and/or Project.
  • Proficient with PowerBi.
  • Knowledge of financial literacy concepts in a business setting including budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and variance analysis.


This position will require the ability to travel to corporate and various field locations (40%) mostly domestic but occasional international travel may be required.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Non-standard work hours and weekends expected as necessary to support the activities of the business.
  • Majority of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
