Job Description

Oppenheimer Asset Management (OAM) offers high net worth and institutional investors the opportunity to participate in a wide range of traditional and non-traditional investment strategies.

The firm is seeking a Performance and Reporting Analyst to support the OAM department in New York.

Responsibilities:
  • Fully support and maintain third party reporting systems. Including creating both internal and external reports
  • Ensure and verify accurate validation of rate of return calculations on a composite, account and sleeve level
  • Assist in the production of timely delivery of internal and external (client) reporting
  • Assist in managing and tracking all the firm's performance composites
  • Maintain and implement the firm's policies and procedures for performance
  • Responsible for maintaining and analyzing the firm's composites and client account performance. Ensuring that performance reporting meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Responsible for identifying and fielding questions regarding performance and performance outliers
  • Responsible for supporting third party vendor reporting systems
  • Work on performance projects on an ad-hoc basis
  • Lead and manage internal performance related projects

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience working with investment performance preferred
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of performance measurement
  • GIPS - Global Investment Performance Standards and the verification process is essential
  • Experience with GIPS - Global Investment Performance Standards and the verification process is preferred
  • Solid understanding of performance in various asset classes
  • Highly developed and demonstrated problem solving, analytical & numeric and verbal/written communications skills are essential
  • Ability to effectively communicate performance related items with senior management
  • Advanced experience with Excel preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a group environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Experience with Addepar, Tableau, Clearwater and Vestmark One a plus

Compensation

For job postings in New York City, Oppenheimer is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the City of New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making salary decisions including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 at the time of this posting. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
