About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and empathetic HR Generalist to join our People Team. In this critical role, you will help ensure a consistently positive and compliant employee experience from onboarding through offboarding. You will play a vital part in fostering an engaging workplace, optimizing HR processes, and directly contributing to the overall success and strategic objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Experience:
• Onboarding & Integration: Facilitate engaging new hire orientation sessions and manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for all new team members.
• New Hire Check-ins: Conduct regular check-ins with new hires, identifying and addressing potential challenges, and distilling feedback into actionable themes and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Employee Support: Serve as a trusted resource, providing expert guidance and support to employees on a wide range of HR-related topics including policies, benefits, leave administration, alternative work arrangements, and issue resolution. Assist HRBPs and HR Leads with compensation recommendations.
• Offboarding: Orchestrate a smooth and respectful offboarding experience for departing employees and their managers, including managing associated documentation and processes. Assist HRBPs with conducting involuntary separations, preparing talking points for manager and answering questions from manager/separating employees
• Exit Interviews: Conduct confidential exit interviews, analyze feedback for key trends, and provide insights and recommendations to People team leadership for enhancing employee retention and the overall employee experience.

HR Programs & Compliance:
• Performance Management: Facilitate and support various tasks and trainings related to our performance management and goal-setting processes, ensuring clarity, fairness, and effectiveness.
• HR Program Promotion: Actively promote and support the adoption of HR programs, initiatives, and policies designed to foster an efficient, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
• Culture & Engagement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction, well-being, and engagement, including the implementation of perks and benefits and organization of culture-building activities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Immigration Support: Provide essential support and coordination for employee immigration cases.

Strategic Partnership & Data Integrity:
• Employee Relations: Partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Employee Relations specialists to effectively address and resolve complex employee relations issues, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
• Talent Strategy Support: Assist HR Leaders with strategic talent initiatives, including talent mapping, succession planning exercises, and workforce development programs.
• HRIS Management: Regularly audit, update, and maintain accurate employee data within our HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and generating reports as required.
• Project Management: Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of People Team operations.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employee lifecycle management.
• Solid knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain strict confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Aptitude for problem-solving, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
