What You'll Do
  • Partner with senior leaders to support workforce planning, talent management, retention, succession planning, and teammate experience initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping leaders make effective people decisions aligned with business objectives and enterprise priorities.
  • Identify workforce trends and opportunities through data analysis, leader feedback, teammate insights, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture Centers of Excellence to implement solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Support organizational design efforts, restructures, and change initiatives while helping leaders navigate transitions successfully.
  • Coach leaders to strengthen leadership capability, reinforce culture, and improve team effectiveness.
  • Utilize workforce analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to inform recommendations and action plans.
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to support leader development and capability-building initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations, policies, and People & Culture practices while appropriately escalating risks and concerns.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and influence outcomes through effective stakeholder management.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and follow-through.
  • Model Advocate Health's values and ensure the responsible use of data, technology, and AI-enabled tools in decision-making.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of Human Resources experience within a large health system or similarly complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders to develop and execute people strategies.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, teammate experience, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience interpreting workforce data and human capital metrics to drive recommendations and solutions.
  • Strong consulting, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and provide sound judgment in complex situations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, restructuring, and leader coaching initiatives.
  • Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency with HR technologies, digital platforms, workforce analytics tools, and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, compliance, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Experience supporting large, complex organizations through transformational change initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing workforce analytics and AI-enabled tools to inform strategic workforce decisions.


Working Conditions
  • Primarily operates in a professional office or virtual work environment.
  • Travel may be required to support assigned business areas and leaders.
  • Frequent interaction with leaders, teammates, and stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
