Innovative Solutions Opening Coordinator
The Opportunity:

To achieve an organization's mission, leaders need strong team members who will support the development, administration, and coordination of innovative projects and opportunity pipelines, with a particular emphasis on collaboration within Mission Offices. This role will help manage activities related to solicitations, solution summaries, proposals, and project tracking, while supporting processes associated with one of ARPA-H's Mission Offices. That is why we need you, an experienced Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) Coordinator who can analyze every aspect of our customers' needs and provide high-quality support.

You will serve as an ISO Coordinator to ARPA-H. You will enable the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts, help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions, integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies, and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As an ISO Coordinator, you will provide support to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.

What You'll Work On:
  • Assist with the development and administration of ARPA-H programs and projects for a Mission Office portfolio.
  • Assist in the development of solicitations and related documents.
  • Manage ISO proposals and tracking negotiations.
  • Coordinate within the Mission Office and across ARPA-H for cost proposals and technical evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, contracting officers, IT professionals, and other advisors involved in the portfolio.
  • Communicate complex processes and concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the portfolio forward.


You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in business management, acquisitions, or contracting
  • Experience tracking metrics effectively and managing multiple parallel projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of contracting or procurement
  • Knowledge of information management systems, including Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to evaluate IT systems and processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend functional improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to be highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and make recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and prioritize work
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in federal healthcare or scientific consulting
  • 1+ years of experience supporting DARPA or related federal ARPA agencies
  • Experience working with OTAs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements
  • Experience working with acquisition documentation requirements, including RFI, SN, BAA, and J&A
  • Experience supporting federal or commercial health agency or organization
  • Experience supporting complex healthcare and programs of a research and development nature
  • Knowledge of the biomedical research landscape
  • Knowledge of contracting or procurement in a government or research environment
  • Ability to display a strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally with members of the public


Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
