Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Longview, TXH2 Health Kids is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our outpatient pediatric team. Your Role- Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy services addressing articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, fluency, feeding, and other communication needs
- Implement engaging, play-based interventions that promote skill development and functional communication
- Educate and partner with families and caregivers to encourage carryover and progress outside of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time
- Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management
- Manage a typical full-time outpatient caseload averaging approximately 10-12 patient visits per day
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC-SLP preferred or CFY eligible
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required
