What You Will DoThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Practice setting: Inpatient
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- NCCPA Certified
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Perform rapid medical evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and initiate immediate, age-specific treatments for critically ill or injured pediatric patients in the emergency department.
- Educate parents and caregivers on complex pediatric diagnoses, medication administration, and specific red-flag symptoms, while coordinating safe home care plans or inpatient admissions.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience preferred.
