Facility Name: Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time
Base salary: $112,012 - $145,933 per year

CME allowance + dedicated CME days
Malpractice coverage with tail

What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

  • Practice setting: Inpatient
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • NCCPA Certified
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Perform rapid medical evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and initiate immediate, age-specific treatments for critically ill or injured pediatric patients in the emergency department.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on complex pediatric diagnoses, medication administration, and specific red-flag symptoms, while coordinating safe home care plans or inpatient admissions.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
