Full Job Description
SEL is seeking a PCB Designer to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment designing printed circuit boards for high-reliability applications. In this role, you will contribute to the full PCB design lifecycle, partnering closely with engineers to create manufacturable, testable, and robust designs that meet demanding performance and quality requirements.

As a PCB Designer, a typical day might include the following:
  • Design and develop PCB layouts from schematics under the mentorship of experienced Designers and Engineers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to translate schematic intent into reliable PCB designs.
  • Schedule and lead design review meetings for assigned projects, incorporating feedback and driving design improvements.
  • Apply engineering change orders (ECOs) to PCB layouts and associated documentation.
  • Perform component placement, routing, and design rule implementation with attention to signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
  • Perform Layout based simulations.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerbers, drawings, BOMs) to support manufacturing.
  • Support PCB fabrication, assembly, and test by working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve design issues.
  • Adhere to and help maintain PCB design standards and IPC guidelines.

Pay Range Information:

$32.00 - $48.00 per hour. Our salary ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
