PCB Designer

We are looking for a PCB Designer to join our team in Newtown, PA!

The Printed Circuit Board Designer will be responsible for the design, and documentation of HDI (High-Density Interconnect) PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards). Working collaboratively with Engineering you will be an integrated member of our Design and Engineering team.

LOCATION: Newtown, PA

Salary Range:$ 83,800.00- 115,000.00 Annual plus bonus

YOUR CHALLENGE:
  • Perform routing of complex HDI PCBs.
  • Determine component placement and stack up in collaboration with mechanical team and hardware engineering team
  • Review and align specifications to develop practical designs and solutions to advanced technical engineering problems while meeting the technological objectives and CW design standards.
  • Interfaces with PCB vendors to resolve technical issues, specifically for DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
  • Generate and release documentation for fabrication of PCBs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and PCB vendors to continually improve design rules, constraints and design for test and manufacture guidelines.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Drafting, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to review key aspects of the design approach, manufacturing methods, functional and reliability performance for existing products and well as new designs.


WHAT YOU BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in PCB design, CADSTAR/eCADSTAR
  • Experience with layout of mixed analog and digital designs, high-power integrated circuits, DDR, DC-DC converters, and high-speed impedance-controlled traces.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing process and technologies.
  • Experience with design for DFM/DFT.
  • Experience with all design processes from concept to delivery
  • Experience with scripting and automation.
