Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of electronics and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in PCB layout routing, placement, checking, and output generation
• Knowledge of process improvement and refinement techniques
• Familiarity with ODB++, IDX, Valor DFM, and fabrication/assembly processes
• Experience with PCB layout circuit simulation tools
• Proficiency in Xpedition Layout/Designer, HyperLynx, Valydate, and Valor NPI preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with PCB vendors and various engineering teams
• Perform PCB layout routing, placement, and output generation
• Provide expert support for internal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers on PCB layout tools
• Drive process improvements in PCB design and manufacturing
• Utilize PCB layout simulation tools for efficient design
• Oversee checking and validation of PCB layouts
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality PCB fabrication and assembly
