Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our Retirement Plan Services organization in a work from home environment.

As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting, analyzing and delivering on complex projects and representing our payroll organization to help guide current and potential customers on the set up and understanding of their contribution and payroll files. You will serve as a payroll liaison and resource to client and internal stakeholders through implementation or conversion of the plan. You will also act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders. This position is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with internal and external customers, analyzing complex payroll issues and is an advocate on behalf of the customer for driving positive change. What you'll be doing- You will develop, maintain, & execute more complex client relationship payroll implementations and conversions which ensure that the clients' overall service needs are satisfied & achieve the business, profitability & retention objectives.
- You will collaborate with external customers and internal teams to develop strong payroll implementation and conversion plans through proactive and reactive customer interactions.
- You will build, enhance & maintain relationships with payroll contacts at client organizations, ensuring clients' overall service needs are satisfied.
- You will develop and strengthen relationships with internal/external stakeholders through both proactive and responsive customer contacts to maintain and develop preferred status.
- You will serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex projects related to new business implementation and conversions.
- You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- You will identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
- You will champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
What we're looking forMust-have Experience (Required)
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 3 - 5+ Years of experience in relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. (Required)
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organization/project management skills
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
Nice-to-have Experience (Preferred)
- Retirement plan/product industry experience; knowledge and experience working with MEP/PEP plans is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Payroll Services and/or Payroll Implementation
- Strong proficiency in Excel with experience utilizing VLOOKUPS and the ability to clean and analyze data
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with
anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
