Join our Payment Rails Product Delivery Strategy & Governance team and drive meaningful impact across modernization, AI innovation, and product development lifecyle. 

As a Vice President in Payments Rails Product Delivery Strategy & Governance, you are an integral part of the team that defines the strategic direction for one of the world's largest payments businesses. As a core member of the team, you are responsible for acting as the voice of strategic clarity - synthesizing business requirements, market trends, and internal capabilities into executive-ready recommendations. Utilizing your deep understanding of payments, platform experience, and emerging technology, you help guide strategic programs, support investment governance, and drive the AI Centre of Excellence. With a strong commitment to evidence-based decision-making, scalability, and cross-functional alignment, you collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Finance, and Operations to deliver high-impact strategic outcomes.


 
Job responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains the strategic narrative for Payments platform modernization, expansion, and completion — delivering data-driven, executive-friendly materials for MD and C-suite audiences
  • Leads strategic analysis on market modernization trends, portfolio planning, and expansion opportunities to inform product and investment decisions
  • Drives execution of strategic programs — managing cross-functional dependencies, milestone tracking, and senior stakeholder communication
  • Supports the AI Centre of Excellence — identifying AI/ML use cases across Payments, building business cases, and coordinating with firmwide AI governance and delivery teams
  • Owns and maintains the investment governance framework — evaluating business cases, investment spend, and tracking benefits realization
  • Builds frameworks to track strategic success metrics, competitive positioning, platform adoption, and modernization velocity
  • Conducts market research, competitive benchmarking, and scenario analysis to uncover strategic options and integrate them into the Payments roadmap
  • Leads quarterly planning process, including roadmap synthesizes and investment planning 
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, product strategy, or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the strategic planning frameworks, market analysis, data-driven decision-making, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to synthesize complexity into clear, structured narratives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and AI Tooling
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in financial services, including generative AI strategy and governance
  • Prior exposure to payments modernization, FX, cross-border, or real-time payments
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
