JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Payments Client Manager (PCM), you will manage a portfolio of complex client relationships—serving as a trusted advisor and day-to-day partner to treasury and finance stakeholders. You’ll help clients achieve measurable outcomes by strengthening existing business and identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship globally - delivering an overwhelmingly positive client experience.

In this role, you act as the client’s advocate across the firm, bringing the right partners together to solve client needs quickly and drive outcomes. You’ll proactively manage relationship health, anticipate client trajectory, and translate those data points into internal action—navigating complex relationships with clarity, urgency, and accountability. Your success will be reflected through client retention,  product adoption, and sustained relationship growth.

Job responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding and strengthening the client operating model and objectives with the bank.

• Collaborate across the Global Corporate Bank to manage client needs alongside sales, product, service, onboarding, credit, and corporate bankers.

• Manage regular business reviews; review and maintain client health indicators to proactively elevate the relationship. 

• Oversee deal realization, ensure functional alignment, and secure necessary resources to accelerate revenue of mandated business.

• Monitor credit usage, through regular maintenance and sizing of facilities while you ensure appropriate controls, compliance, and risk factors.

• Develop and maintain account plans that define the client strategy, priorities, stakeholders, engagement, and next-best actions.

• Drive disciplined relationship management using pipeline and call reports to track engagement, opportunities, and financial performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

• 5+ years of experience in client management, sales, or a related role

• Strong understanding of payments products and payments industry dynamics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and optimize processes

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
