Qualifications

• 5-7 years of management experience in a hospital or patient transport environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends affecting operations.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills, especially within a Windows environment, with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Preferred possession of an Associate's degree.
• Required CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters.
• Monitor dispatcher activities and develop effective transportation strategies.
• Coordinate transportation activities with other hospital departments and establish service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC standards.
• Train and develop transport staff across various roles including dispatchers and transporters.
• Assist management in meeting financial objectives and adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Perform additional related duties as required.
