Summary of Essential Functions
Provides administrative leadership and oversight for operations within assigned service areas, including staffing, patient assignments, patient throughput, and resource pool management.
Supervises and coordinates departmental activities in accordance with organizational mission, vision, policies, and strategic objectives.
Assumes responsibility for the planning, direction, control, and evaluation of programs and services within assigned areas.
Ensures the effective utilization of personnel, financial, and operational resources to support safe, high-quality patient care.
Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred; candidates actively pursuing a master's degree will be considered.
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
Proficient in software applications required to perform the duties of the position.
Licenses and Certifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas.
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
