About the role

We're looking for a Patent Agent to own and drive our patent prosecution strategy. This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience at a top-tier law firm and is ready to work more autonomously, partnering closely with technical teams to protect and grow a sophisticated IP portfolio.
What you'll do
  • Lead patent prosecution efforts from invention disclosure through issuance
  • Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications with minimal oversight
  • Advise internal stakeholders on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and portfolio strategy
  • Collaborate directly with engineers, researchers, and leadership on invention development
  • Manage outside counsel as needed and review their work for quality and strategy
  • Help shape long-term IP strategy aligned with company product and research roadmap
