Job Title: Parts Planner

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 office days a week)

Working Location: Indianapolis, IN

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Position Summary:

As a Forecast Planner for Rolls-Royce, you will be part of the US Parts and Repair Planning dedicated to serving our programs' needs for material, both new and repaired. You will be responsible for providing detailed aftermarket parts planning and forecasting for a variety of gas turbine product lines. Your role will require strong coordination with the programs, internal and external supply chains, as well as parts Distributors where applicable. In this role you will travel up to 5% domestically.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop Parts Plans (new and repair) look ahead at a minimum for 3 years (proficient in Servigistics)
  • Lead SIOP (sales, inventory, operations & planning) activities for their managed portfolio of parts
  • Monitor and action tactical usage of parts, support planned parts campaigns, and provide recommendations as part of business capture efforts
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Analyze complex data, identify and address data gaps, and get stake holder buy-in as part of decision making and providing parts planning recommendations.


Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree with 4+ years of experience in demand planning or logistics support, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in demand planning or logistics support, OR
  • Master's degree, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning or logistics support in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident


Preferred Requirements:
  • Expertise with System Applications and Products (SAP) or other enterprise systems
  • Proven ability to analyze large or complex data sets and communicate through tools such as Power BI
  • Familiarity with Life Cycle Cost modelling
