What is the role?

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Sales Representative to drive sales growth and revenue growth of our Building Automation products through Value Added Partners (VAPs) within Western Canada. The candidate may be based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver and will focus on identifying, developing, and nurturing strong partnerships with VAPs to expand market presence and lead business growth in the territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to lead growth and drive sales growth for Siemens' Building Automation solutions through Value Added Partners (VAPs) in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and recruit new VAPs to strengthen the partner ecosystem and support long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with existing VAPs to enhance their capabilities, drive sales growth, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with partners to foster loyalty, trust, and alignment with Siemens' business goals.
  • Implement strategies to support VAPs in achieving their sales targets, including training, joint solutions.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics, ensuring sustainable revenue growth in the territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, partner interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools.

What will you need to succeed?
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the Building Automation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diplomas or relevant trade certifications.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and managing channel partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of Building Automation systems and solutions or related Electrical/ Mechanical systems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy and lead growth initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in growing a market is a strong asset
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Western Canada- across BC and Alberta as required.
  • Valid Drivers License in good standing

Location: The candidate may be based anywhere in Alberta or British Columbia and must be open to travel across the assigned territory as required.

Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $80,000 CAD - $110,000 CAD, excluding commissions and benefits.
