As a Paralegal, you'll partner closely with our Associate General Counsels and attorneys to manage contracts, corporate records, compliance activities, litigation support, and legal documentation. What You Will Do:You'll provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to Centrus' legal team by preparing and organizing contracts, maintaining corporate records, coordinating regulatory filings, assisting with litigation and discovery, assisting with internal investigations, supporting public company compliance activities, conducting legal research, and helping ensure legal documents and processes are accurate, organized, and completed on schedule. You'll collaborate with internal business partners and outside counsel while helping keep legal operations running efficiently.
We'd Love to Hear From People With:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program preferred where applicable
- 5+ years of paralegal experience supporting corporate, commercial, or government contracting legal matters
- Experience preparing, reviewing, organizing, and managing legal documents and contracts
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
A Successful Candidate Brings:- Experience supporting publicly traded companies and SEC filing processes
- Familiarity with federal government contracting and FAR, DFARS, or DEAR requirements
- Experience supporting litigation, discovery, document retention, and eDiscovery activities
- Knowledge of corporate governance, entity management, and board documentation
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as energy, defense, aerospace, or nuclear
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management or legal management software
Pay:Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $72,950-$121,583. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.
