Palantir Software Engineer
The Opportunity: Perform implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for Agile software development to modernize systems. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.
You Have: - 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development
- 3+ years of experience working with Palantir Foundry to build, enhance, or deploy data-driven solutions
- Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
- Experience writing source code for new applications, or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems withing a collaborative and cross-functional team
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 7+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have: - Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
- Experience working in mission-oriented analytics or logistics-based data environments
- Experience with data modeling, ontology mapping, or data visualization in Foundry
- Experience with AI or ML model integration such as integrating with Foundry applications
- Experience building React applications
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Experience with Navy readiness and resource management
- Experience as a development manager or with technical team leadership
- Knowledge of Foundry security models, access control, and compliance frameworks
- Secret clearance

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
