Your Role

The Growth team plays a critical role in driving customer acquisition, revenue, and scalable growth across channels. This team is accountable for developing and optimizing performance marketing strategies, creative, and experiments to efficiently reach new customers and expand our impact as we grow.

The Paid Media Manager will own the day-to-day management of millions in monthly ad spend across Meta, Pinterest, and AppLovin - with the opportunity to expand into additional platforms as we scale. They will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of our paid social campaigns, ensuring every dollar is deployed efficiently against our growth and efficiency targets.

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Growth, and will partner with them on forecasting, budget allocation, and high-leverage optimization decisions. This person will also be in close communication with the Creative Strategy team to translate performance signals into actionable creative insights and ideation.The ideal candidate is highly analytical, deeply fluent in paid social platforms, and excited to operate at the intersection of media buying, creative testing, and growth strategy. They bring a scrappy, proactive mindset and thrive in a fast-moving, high-spend environment where small decisions compound into meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Own day-to-day management of millions in monthly paid social spend across Meta, Pinterest, and AppLovin, with potential expansion to additional platforms (TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.)
  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns to hit aggressive efficiency and volume targets across prospecting and retargeting
  • Develop and execute structured testing roadmaps across audiences, placements, bidding strategies, and account structures
  • Partner closely with the Creative Strategy team to translate performance data into creative insights, hooks, angles, and net-new concepts for testing
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Growth on forecasting, budget pacing, scenario planning, and channel-level optimization decisions
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor performance, surface trends, and communicate results to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on creative, audience, and funnel performance to identify what's working, what's not, and where to invest next
  • Manage daily pacing, bid adjustments, and budget reallocations to hit blended CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin goals
  • Highlight new creative needs based on platform-specific performance gaps and opportunities
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, beta features, and industry best practices, and translate them into actionable testing opportunities
  • Own measurement integrity across platforms - including pixel/CAPI health, attribution settings, and incrementality testing
  • Support broader growth initiatives including landing page testing, offer strategy, and full-funnel optimization in partnership with the Sr. Director of Growth

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience in marketing, business, economics, or a related field
    • 5+ years of hands-on paid social buying experience, ideally at a high-growth DTC brand or performance-focused agency
    • Proven track record managing $1M+ in monthly paid social spend with direct accountability for CAC, ROAS, and revenue targets
    • Deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager is required; hands-on experience with Pinterest and AppLovin is strongly preferred
    • Demonstrated experience designing and executing structured creative and audience testing frameworks
    • Experience with attribution platforms (e.g., Northbeam, Triple Whale, Rockerbox). MMM/incrementality experience is a plus
    • Startup, DTC, or consumer hardware experience or strong interest is a plus
  • Interpersonal:

Benefits

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $100,000 - $120,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
