PaaS Quality Lead
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate across Solution QA domains (HSV, SI, SIE, UAT, GT, BETA) to ensure comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) integration testing across organizational boundaries.
- Lead pre-launch readiness activities for major releases, including facilitating the "Wall Committee." Drive final readiness assessments at launch to validate whether the E2E solution is robust, customer-ready, and resilient-while proactively identifying and articulating any residual risks.
- Analyze customer-impacting defect escapes to identify gaps in test coverage and define targeted improvements to strengthen overall quality assurance.
- Oversee regression strategy by ensuring early detection of service interruptions-prior to customer impact or support engagement. Continuously evolve regression coverage in alignment with system monitoring, asset QA, and observability practices to minimize exposure and accelerate issue resolution.
- Ensure adequate and scalable QA coverage for new features and customer experiences, aligning validation efforts with product intent and customer expectations.
- Drive QA validation within the production environment, advocating for and expanding "Test in Production" capabilities to improve real-world quality assurance.
- Partner with stakeholders and QA teams to define appropriate scope, cost, and accountability when Solution QA investment is required. Ensure alignment on expected outcomes and rigorously track delivery of value.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - BA/BS in engineering, computer science, management information systems or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years experience in quality, program management, or product lifecycle management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED - Experience in print, hardware, or complex system products.
- Experience in quality, program management, and/or product lifecycle management (incl. familiarity with NPI processes).
- Demonstrable history of working with IT in complex systems. Zealous approach to problem solving, forensics skills, root cause analysis, and able to drive issues to quick resolution.
- Able to anticipate problems from a systemic perspective, gather data insights to influence cross functionally to prevent reoccurrence.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple issues, and own their resolution.
- Strong communication skills: ability to communicate technical issues intelligibly, in written/oral form, to colleagues and customers with varied technical backgrounds.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and ability to influence constructively across functions, work successfully with virtual teams, across WW time zones.
- Ability to work in new, fast-paced environments.
The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
