What You'll Do:The Service Salesperson is responsible for prospecting and generating Service Revenue for the Service Department as well as developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with existing clients including, large fleet customers. The Service Salesperson manages the repair expectations for assigned customers to ensure excellent customer service and provide immediate service to trucks thereby maintaining the customer relationship. The Service Salesperson spends more than 50% of his or her time outside the office engaging in the selling of Freightliner products.
Job Duties: - Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of Daimler products and pricing
- Identifies leads, manages prospects, and acquires new business
- Meets or exceeds business sales goals
- Completes prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointment with decision makers
- Schedules and documents activities
- Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers
- Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner
- Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly
- Regularly meets with supervisor and service managers to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers
Customer Service Responsibilities- Maintains excellent customer service standard

Required Skills and Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in service department of trucking industry
- Technician experience

Physical Requirements: - Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
Compensation: - Base salary: $50,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience, plus uncapped commission earning potential of $15,000-$60,000+ per year, with no limit on total earnings.
