OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Compensation Range - $ 125,000 - $ 160,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic OutsideSales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve the desired quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the customer base in an assigned territory and increasing revenue by generating leads and qualifying prospects and negotiating with clients to secure new service contracts.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement strategies to market Total Fire Protection's services
  • Uncovering clients' needs to tailor and effectively convey solutions
  • Maintain our database of qualified prospects through cold calling, personal visits and networking within the CRM platform
  • Leverage the TFP brand to identify prospective clients and develop relationships and establish a strong network with new and existing customers for continued sales growth
  • Attend work functions, charity and industry events
  • Deliver an established number of proposals to clients monthly
  • Close business and provide after-sales reports to VP of Sales
  • Excellent editing, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills


Requirements:
  • The ability to create a positive buying experience; strong closing skills
  • The ability to detect specific client needs and clearly present key benefits of doing business with Total Fire Protection
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic and career-oriented
  • Drive, persistence, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets/goals
  • Ability to function independently in a team environment with little supervision
  • Must have a Professional Presentation
  • 3 years prior sales experience is a plus
  • An existing network of strong connections in key sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, education and commercial residential is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to maintain confidential client information.
  • Minimum 3 days of field sales activity required
  • In-depth knowledge of all company services
