DescriptionJob Profile SummaryThe Senior Sales Representative is responsible for developing strong customer relationships and selling aggregate and asphalt products and services. As a customer-facing position, the sales representative will work to provide excellent customer service and will assist customers with selecting the best products for their needs. Working with the sales manager, the sales representative will evaluate existing and potential accounts, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts on a regular basis. The sales representative will also frequently communicate with operations, quality control, and dispatch personnel regarding customer needs.
Job DescriptionKey Duties and Responsibilities:- Typically responsible for a large number of plants, sites, or product lines' sales
- Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with larger-tier customer's management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies
- Serves as a senior point of contact for customer account management matters
- Leads product demonstrations with potential customers
- Recommends marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Identifies and executes complex bidding opportunities and closes opportunities to maximize profits
- Develops trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

The hiring range for this position is $95,000 -$133,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position. In addition, this role is eligible for our annual bonus program. Bonuses awarded under this program are determined based on the performance of the organization and the employee.
