Full Job Description
As a Technical Expert, you will provide technical leadership for enterprise Fault Management. You will own initiatives from concept through production delivery, working directly with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, architect solutions, develop software, and lead implementation activities.

As a technical leader, you will drive strategic initiatives while ensuring that solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with operational objectives.

What you'll do:
  • Lead initiatives through the complete solution lifecycle, from business need identification through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operational transition.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business and operational challenges and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
  • Define solution architecture and technical implementation strategies.
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale Fault Management solutions.
  • Administer and support Linux-based production environments.
  • Configure and support IBM Netcool and related monitoring technologies.
  • Plan and execute operating system patching and security remediation activities.
  • Drive security, compliance, resiliency, and operational excellence across supported platforms.
  • Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and implementation planning activities.
  • Manage relationships with technology partners.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across projects.
  • Drive initiatives to successful delivery while balancing short-term execution and long-term platform strategy.

What you bring:
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise software and platform solutions.
  • Strong Linux administration experience.
  • Experience with Fault Management, Alarm Management, Network Management, or Monitoring platforms.
  • Experience performing operating system patching and security remediation activities.
  • Experience with IBM Netcool, NOI, or similar enterprise monitoring solutions.
  • Experience defining requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong SQL and database skills.
  • Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Experience with Fault Management, OSS, Network Management, or Telecommunications environments.
  • Familiarity with software development and delivery lifecycle practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
