ORIONElectrical Test Engineer to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL
Job Description:- Develop test plans, test procedures, and automated test scripts for system and subsystem-level electrical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles
- Perform test procedure and test script checkout in the Orion Test Labs in Denver and Houston
- Execute test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis II and Artemis III), the
- Environmental Test Article (ETA), and future vehicles under Orion production
- Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other related degree and 2-4 years experience.
- Must have hands-on electrical, computer or aerospace test experience
- Willing to work extended hours, including 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, in support of test activities
- Willing to travel
Desired Skills:- Fundamental knowledge of test engineering,operations, and processes
- Experience writing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents
- Experience in subsystem/system electrical integration and powered testing
- Experience preparing for and executing spacecraft or system-level tests
- Knowledge of the Orion spacecraft or experience on a production spacecraft program
- Current or former Certified Test Conductor (CTC)
- Experience with spacecraft commanding and telemetry monitoring software
- Familiarity with electrical ground support equipment and test equipment
- Experience using Automation Framework tools
