Description
Are you passionate about developing people, building programs, and turning ideas into meaningful employee experiences? The Town of Prescott Valley is seeking an innovative and collaborative Organizational Development Manager to help shape how we develop, engage, and support our employees throughout their careers with the Town. This is an opportunity to create, not simply administer, new programs. You will have the freedom to exercise creativity as you design and deliver training and development initiatives, strengthen onboarding and employee lifecycle programs, and partner directly with departments to understand their development and succession needs. You'll take what you learn and turn it into practical, hands-on programs that help employees and leaders grow while strengthening the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys seeing an opportunity, developing the solution, and then personally helping bring it to life. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution: consulting with departments one day, developing a new program the next, and standing in front of employees or supervisors to facilitate it.

Examples of Duties
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
  • Build learning and development programs from the ground up. Design, develop, facilitate, and evaluate engaging training and coaching programs.
  • Partner with departments to develop our workforce.
  • Shape the employee experience from hire to separation.
  • Use data to drive meaningful programs.
  • Strengthen leadership and organizational effectiveness. Build leadership pipelines, support talent reviews, develop high-potential employees through coaching and mentoring, and create initiatives that strengthen performance, culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Be an active member of the HR team. Supervise assigned staff while contributing to HR initiatives, employee engagement and recognition efforts, policy development, HR systems and records, and special projects that support the changing needs of the organization.
