Responsibilities

Functions

ESSENTIAL
  • Leads end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll implementation activities for US alongside implementation partner and US payroll team
  • Assist implementation partners with build validation and design reviews
  • Partners with Corp. Payroll IT for software configuration and testing for new processes and updates.
  • Supports payroll-related integrations (Time & Labor, Benefits, GL, tax vendors)
  • Work closely with the HR Admin, Legal, Finance, Tax, and IT functions
  • Identifies key testing areas alongside US payroll team and project Test Lead
  • Participates and supports the team in unit testing, system testing, UAT, and parallel payroll runs
  • Analyze payroll results to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify root causes of payroll defects and partner with project teams for resolution
  • Retest corrections and support testing sign-off
  • Support payroll data conversion activities using HDL, spreadsheets, and payroll loads
  • Review and validate payroll configuration including:
    • Elements, balances, formulas, payroll calendars

Costing, tax setup, and legislative configurations employee data, year-to-date balances, and historical payroll information
  • Assist with reconciliation between legacy systems and Oracle Cloud Payroll
  • Troubleshoot payroll calculation, balance, and interface issues during implementation
  • Manage and track payroll defects using project tools
  • Escalate complex issues to Oracle Support or implementation vendors
  • Provide post-go-live hyper care support to payroll and Time & Labor teams to ensure successful production payrolls
  • Conduct special projects in alignment with deadlines, including cross-functional
  • Help resolve Time & Labor and payroll related issues.
  • Effective partner with cross-functional departments to meet various objectives and contribute to enterprise initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality of data and employee information

Oracle Cloud Payroll US Implementation Lead Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Qualifications

Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience leading numerous Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations or conversions
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll
  • Demonstrated experience leading payroll implementations or HCM system deployments
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing
  • Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution
  • Experience with Fast Formulas and payroll balances
  • Leader in providing best practice for payroll implementation and transition to production
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with local statutory requirements and local labor law, federal statutory requirements, and federal labor law
  • Working knowledge of payroll functions across numerous US states
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Word and Excel


DESIRED
  • Certified Payroll Professional Certification or CPP candidate
  • Exposure to most recent Oracle Cloud quarterly updates during implementation
  • U.S. payroll processing experience (multi-state preferred)
  • Awareness of Worldwide Payroll
