You Are:An Enterprise Solution Architect with deep experience engaging prospective customers on Oracle EPM (Hyperion) and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM platforms-including on-premises deployments, cloud transformation, and managed services models. You bring a strong presales mindset, the ability to simplify complex architectures, and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
The Work:The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a value architect across a spectrum of presales opportunities-from small engagements to large, complex, multi-tower Oracle managed-services deals. You will shape solutions across:
- Oracle Hyperion EPM (Planning, HFM, DRM/Data Relationship Management)
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM
- Hybrid and migration scenarios spanning on-prem, cloud, and OCI
You will individually create solution architectures based on deep technology, delivery, and managed-services experience, while also co-creating solutions directly with clients. Your SME authority will make you a critical contributor in shaping client strategy, technical scoping, integration models, SLAs, commercials, and risk positioning across multiple teams.
Lead Solution Architecture for Oracle Hyperion & Oracle Fusion Managed Services:
- Lead design, implementation, and migration scope for on-prem Hyperion, Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM implementations, and migrations from on-prem to Fusion Cloud/OCI during the presales cycle.
- Define solution blueprints covering planning, financial close, reporting, ERP integration, data flows, environment strategy, and run/operate models.
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient managed-services offerings across EPM and ERP ecosystems.
Act as the SME for Oracle Technical Architecture:
- Serve as the primary SME for Hyperion and Fusion Cloud technical architectures, integrations (OIC/REST, EPM Automate), identity/security, and deployment patterns.
- Provide authoritative guidance on best practices for availability, performance, DR/BCP, automation, and operational governance.
Represent the Solution to Senior Client and Internal Leaders:
- Lead conversations with senior client buyers, CIO organizations, and business/finance stakeholders to align solution value with business objectives.
- Represent the architecture in client orals, solution deep dives, and commercial negotiations.
- Drive alignment with Operating Group leadership and the sales team.
Drive Internal Approvals & Risk Governance:
- Lead the Technology Delivery sign-off process with full alignment on solution scope, risk, assumptions, delivery model, SLAs, and financials.
- Partner with Legal and Commercial teams to ensure solution standards, compliance, and protection of the firm's interests.
Collaborate Across Sales, Delivery, and SMEs:
- Work closely with presales, sales executives, pricing teams, security architects, and delivery leads to validate feasibility and shape the optimal delivery model.
- Provide direct input to Terms & Conditions; in certain cases, take accountability for specific contractual elements.
- When required, participate in early stabilization of newly-won deals to ensure smooth transition to delivery.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need: - Minimum 8 years in a technology environment with strong exposure to outsourcing and/or systems-integration models.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solution planning, deal shaping, or presales architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Hyperion EPM and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM technical implementation, administration, or architecture.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years relevant work experience). If Associate's Degree: minimum 6 years relevant experience required.
