Position Description:

CGI is seeking an Oracle Hyperion Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you will validate, test, and optimize Oracle Hyperion environments, ensuring application stability, performance, and operational readiness during an environment consolidation initiative.

Working across the full testing lifecycle, you will develop and execute test plans, validate business rules and integrations, troubleshoot performance issues, and provide recommendations to improve system reliability and efficiency.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office and/or the client office a minimum of two days per week, subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test cases for DEV and QAT environments.
- Perform functional, regression, stress, and performance testing.
- Validate Hyperion applications, calculations, business rules, data loads, integrations, and reports.
- Monitor and analyze application performance under various workload conditions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, stability, and capacity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend configuration or infrastructure improvements.
- Document test results, risks, findings, and recommendations.
- Validate consolidated environments and support production readiness.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- 7+ years of experience supporting Oracle Hyperion EPM on-premises environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and Smart View.
- Experience with Oracle Essbase 21c and Hyperion EPM 11.2.23.x.
- Experience with application testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience validating business rules, calculations, data loads, and reporting processes.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Hyperion environment consolidation or migration projects.
- Familiarity with scripting or test automation.
- Experience in enterprise financial reporting environments.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
