About This RoleEōS Fitness is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database environments that support critical business applications and operations. This role is responsible for database performance, security, availability, backup and recovery strategies, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration of Oracle databases. The ideal candidate is highly technical, proactive, and passionate about delivering reliable and scalable database solutions in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Key Responsibilities - Partnering with accounting and other finance teams to enable new features within Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP, Oracle EPM PBCS, and Oracle EPM FCCS for various modules and other finance systems.
- Documenting and managing testing and related approvals for changes to systems.
- Supporting finance teams in providing responses and data from systems for internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes through AI or other tools
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with third party specialists and Oracle regarding system upgrades and patches
- Manage system security, user access, roles, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performance bottlenecks, and application connectivity problems.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements.
- Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as needed.
Qualifications - 4+ years of relevant work experience, working on Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Financial applications and other Oracle systems.
- Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP modules like Accounting Hub, Payables, Cash management, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Projects, Procurement, and Subledger Accounting
- Experience in creating innovative solutions using AI or other tools to help teams automate the processes within and out of ERP applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable interfacing with all levels and across all departments within the organization.
- Outstanding change management skills and the ability to lead teams through change.
- Detail-oriented, highly analytical, a skilled multi-tasker and problem-solver.
- Self-motivated, attentive, and always follow through.
- Driven to add value and continuously seek opportunities for improvement both individually and as a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
