What you'll do:
This full-time Optometrist float position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, full-scope eye care in modern, technologically advanced practices across Southern California. The primary (home) location is Golden Vision Optometry in Irvine 2-3 days per week, with travel to other Southern California locations as needed, on a consistent Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Providers deliver approximately 7-8 hours of patient care per day, seeing an average of 14-22 patients daily, including comprehensive exams, follow-ups, and medical visits. You'll be supported by highly trained staff and advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and OCT, allowing you to focus on individualized, high-quality care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with a competitive benefits package that may include medical insurance, paid time off, production incentives, malpractice coverage, and continuing education support.

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
