Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics required; Master’s with 5+ years' experience accepted.
• Proven success in tape-outs within advanced semiconductor technologies, ideally SiGe BiCMOS.
• Strong technical writing and communication abilities are essential.
• Experience in high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design and characterization.
• Familiarity with IC design tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Keysight ADS is necessary.
• Hands-on experience with high-frequency test equipment is essential.
• Familiarity with ultra-high signal frequencies (100 GHz+) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research and business teams to identify key optical subsystem technologies.
• Develop transistor-level circuit schematics for ASIC architectures, including various components.
• Characterize ICs using advanced high-frequency testing and modulation techniques.
• Work alongside teams for IC and photonic circuit assembly and integration.
• Document and present research results at internal and external venues, including international conferences.
• Drive innovative research on integration techniques and circuit architectures.
• Enhance performance and efficiency for high-speed optical networks.
