Join Marvell's data center interconnect group where we build pluggable coherent optical modules with high speed Silicon photonics, transmit and receive amplifiers, controller ASIC's with Marvell DSP's. These transceivers enable the data centers of our customers. The team validates and tests the modules to ensure highest in class performance.
What You Can Expect
• Develop optical test beds and execute test plans for coherent pluggable modules under various system conditions.
• Develop test code to automate test beds.
• Debug and analyze test results and propose changes/improvements to other teams within the company.
• Write test reports and develop database solutions for storing test results.
What We're Looking For
• PhD or masters in optical communications or an optics related field with 0-2 years of industry experience.
• Familiar with optical fiber coherent communication systems.
• Experience with using optical lab equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers , variable optical attenuators, EDFA's optical power meters etc. and optical systems measurements such as OSNR.
• Experience with fiber impairments such as CD, PMD, PDL, SPM and XPM.
• Experience with setting up optical test beds and automating measurements using software (preferably Python).
Expected Base Pay Range (CAD)
84,800 - 113,100, $ per annum
