This role works to identify gaps where additional clarity and improvement in enterprise operations processes are required, and works closely with impacted teams to achieve reliable, hard-wired processes that facilitate operational excellence.

This role is different because the Operations Support & Strategy Manager at WelbeHealth:
  • Leads highly ambiguous, complex operational challenges, bringing structure and clarity to undefined problems that directly impact care delivery

  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:
  • Independently manage end-to-end enterprise operations improvement initiatives that yield simplified, repeatable, and scalable processes to improve care quality and drive team engagement
  • Create and conduct presentations on key indicators of clinical excellence, ensuring appropriate team members understand how to maintain and improve clinical excellence in a data-driven way
  • Develop training, job aids, SOP's, workflows, and other support materials related to operations improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of operations playbooks, role specific handbooks, role specific checklists, and departmental guides
  • Proactively create and lead cross-functional work groups to drive complex initiatives across both shared functions and market operations
  • Utilize complex data to inform recommendations

Job requirements include:
  • Strong preference for candidates currently located and residing in the Los Angeles area
  • Must be comfortable with 20-25% of travel based on projects and business needs
  • Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) or related process improvement methodologies are highly desired
  • Minimum of four (4) years of project and process improvement experience in the healthcare industry; PACE experience is highly desired
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinic setting with the ability to independently manage full scope healthcare operations initiatives with minimal direction
  • Hands-on facilitator of complex clinical operations improvement initiatives, while also directing more junior team members on sub-workstreams
  • Experience leading teams with direct reports including hiring, onboarding, training, and providing feedback and mentorship required
  • Microsoft Office competency
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records platforms
  • Outstanding critical and analytical thinking skills, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills

We are seeking an Operations Support & Strategy Manager who thrives in solving complex operational challenges, driving cross-functional initiatives, and building scalable processes that enhance care delivery. If you are passionate about improving healthcare operations and making a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable seniors, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
