Position Summary

ITT Inc. is searching for an Operations Scheduler II to join their Goulds Pumps team in Seneca Falls, NY. The Operations Scheduler will be responsible for managing and procuring inventory levels required to meet shipment and operations objectives through manufacturing or purchasing procurement. This role will also interface with Manufacturing personnel and suppliers as required to meet/exceed customer service requirements and support marketing lead time requirements for all models.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Review daily of product requirements
  • Create work orders
  • Modify existing WO's (Reroute work to another WC)
  • Expedite deliveries
  • Process salvage and scrap orders
  • Reconcile supplier OTP
  • Managing Work Bench for individual work centers
  • Quote lead time to support customer requests
  • Manage and reconcile inventory discrepancies due to lost parts.
  • Manage Manufactured LEAN programs
  • Identify LEAN data integrity issues
  • Work with Planner to develop stocking/pull levels and min qtys to support market demand.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturing to establish priorities when bottlenecks exist. -Requires making decisions on partial shipments, splitting machining lots, subcontract, and other possibilities to maximize customer service.
  • Communicate any delays caused by abnormal demand, salvage, scrap or late or lost parts
  • Identify product structures and routing issues
  • Coordinate as appropriate quality matters and engineering changes/developments between manufacturing operations, QA, and suppliers
  • Backup co-workers as required due to vacation, illness, etc.
  • Initiate and facilitate problem-solving teams, implement solutions and track results.
  • Identify, suggest and implement process improvements
  • Maintain Data integrity with specific emphasis on system date accuracy.
  • Support Visual Daily Management Boards
  • Obtain supplier quotations as needed for offloads
  • Resolve P2P issues
  • Support all ITT safety directives


Position Requirements

Requirements:
  • Education: A 2 to 4 year degree is preferred or a combination of education and appropriate materials experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Materials/Purchasing/Manufacturing
  • Customer Service and Expedited Experience.


Skills/Knowledge :
  • Lean inventory management process.
  • Requires initiative, creativity, and assertiveness, coupled with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills
  • Strong product/parts knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, purchasing, and planning processes.
  • Computer skills: Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, AS400
  • Teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving skills, Analytical
