GENERAL SUMMARY/BASIC PURPOSE OF JOB: The Operations Nursing Manager for Ancillary/Procedural Services is in charge of providing leadership to the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology. . Serves as a role model for professional practice. The Nursing Operations Manager provides clinical leadership to Ancillary/Procedural Departments and has 24-hour accountability for the departments. Serves as a role model for professional practice and, if needed, takes charge of nurse responsibility and patient care load.
MINIMUM Education:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Illinois
- BSN Required
- MSN preferred
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years as a Registered Nurse
- Five (5) years' experience in a Clinical Nursing leadership position preferred.
- Five (5) years' clinical experience working in Ancillary/Procedural Services (Cath/EP Lab Interventional Radiology).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to organize, mentor and lead others.
- Ability to function independently within the scope of clinical practice
REQUIRED LICENSES, Certificates, Registrations:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Illinois
- Current certification in Basic Life Support, Healthcare Providers
