About the RoleWe are seeking a hands-on results-driven Operations Manager to lead our daily field operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of operational excellence - overseeing teams, optimizing processes and ensuring we deliver safe, reliable and high-quality service to our customers.
You'll work closely with drivers, dispatch, maintenance and customer service teams to meet performance goals while maintaining a strong culture of safety and accountability.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment, balancing office-based responsibilities with regular field engagement. You'll occasionally travel to other brand locations and operational sites.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operations team in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency, service quality and safety standards are consistently met.
- Conduct field visits and performance observations to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Partner with dispatch team to optimize schedules, routes and resource allocation.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, training and performance evaluation for operations staff.
- Oversee fleet in collaboration with mechanical team to ensure vehicles are safe and road ready.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor attendance, scheduling and workforce planning especially during peak seasons.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze operational KPIs and financial performance in collaboration with finance.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in an operations leadership role with minimum of 5 years' experience in an operations role working up from entry level.
- Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in safety-focused environments.
- Experience in a regulated industry meeting compliance standards is mandatory.
- Heavy truck knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Hands-on leadership with a strong customer service mindset.
- Strong computer skills and commitment to using available software to improve operating efficiency and decision-making.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak periods.
Job type: Full time
Work Mode: Fully onsite with occasional travel
Pay: $95,000 to $105,000 annually, plus target bonus of $10,000
