What You Will Do

The Operations Manager will serve as the program manager for Product Technical Support operations, driving execution discipline, visibility, and continuous improvement across the organization. This role is responsible for managing operational metrics, tracking open actions, and coordinating training and documentation across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and field teams.

This position ensures alignment between strategic priorities and day-to-day execution by maintaining a structured operating cadence, improving data visibility, and enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.

How You Will Do It 

Program Management & Execution 

  • Own the team’s operating cadence (weekly/monthly reviews, action tracking, reporting) 

  • Maintain a centralized action tracker with clear ownership, status, risks, and due dates 

  • Ensure all initiatives have defined scope, milestones, and accountability aligned to standard work expectations [EDTR-Stand...m_20260421 | Word] 

  • Drive closure of open actions and escalate risks and blockers as needed 

Metrics, Reporting & Visibility 

  • Define and manage key operational KPIs (open/closed actions, aging, cycle time, training completion) 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and standard reporting for leadership visibility 

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and teams 

  • Translate data into actionable insights to support decision-making 

Training Program Coordination 

  • Own the end-to-end training strategy, including onboarding and role-based development 

  • Identify training gaps and prioritize based on business needs 

  • Partner with SMEs, engineering, and quality teams to develop and deploy training programs [Manufactur...10.24.2023 | Word] 

  • Schedule, track, and report training completion and effectiveness

  • Maintain centralized training materials and documentation

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary interface between Product Technical Support and key stakeholders

  • Coordinate alignment on training content, technical literature, and process updates

  • Ensure consistent communication and follow-through across teams

Process Improvement

  • Standardize and improve workflows related to tracking, reporting, and training

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives tied to quality, warranty reduction, and customer experience

What We Look For 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, program management, or technical support 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment 

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally in a technical or operational environment 

Preferred 

  • Experience supporting HVAC, data center, or technical service organizations 

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, or similar data/visualization tools

  • Experience with structured problem-solving (Lean, Six Sigma, A3, or similar)

  • Experience developing or coordinating technical training programs

Travel 

  • Up to 10–15% travel may be required (domestic and occasional international) 

SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $149,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
