Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of operational leadership experience in the distribution industry, ideally in operations management specific to fluid conveyance.
• Experience leading teams focused on the fabrication and fulfillment of hose, pipe, fitting, and gasket components is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage financial aspects and make strategic business decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and distribution software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to guide daily operations and formulate the annual business plan.
• Coordinate inside sales efforts and contribute to the customer pricing strategy to enhance profitability.
• Ensure accurate, timely shipping, receiving, and processing of materials.
• Maintain organized inventory and oversee storage layout planning and implementation.
• Manage Inside Sales staff and Shop Supervisor, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Propose improvements and lead continuous improvement projects focusing on lean practices, quality, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and company policies, keeping all documentation up-to-date.
• Develop a comprehensive succession plan for operations personnel.
