Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial experience in logistics or collection operations preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Valid DZ/AZ license with air brake endorsement is mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong time management, organizational, and team-building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with RFID GPS, GIS, and vehicle maintenance management is a plus.
• Knowledge of provincial transportation and environmental regulations is required.
• Good understanding of the geographic area served.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational processes and support collection operators/drivers.
• Ensure service excellence and effective labor management.
• Oversee daily dispatching of collection trucks.
• Implement and manage progressive discipline and absenteeism programs.
• Train drivers on operational procedures and health & safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to daily operational roll-out and end-of-day procedures.
• Onboard new hires in collaboration with HR and recruitment agencies.
• Conduct operational reporting as required on a daily basis.
• Provide coverage for collections operations when necessary.
