Full Job Description
Eaton's Power Systems Division is seeking an Operations Manager to support Fabrication at our greenfield site in Jonesville, SC.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates within the US.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and will manage all Assembly operations. You will manage plant Assembly operations and schedules to ensure the most effective use of personnel, materials, equipment, and other company resources. This includes ensuring timely delivery of shipments that meet cost and quality standards and planning and coordinating assembly operations while guiding customer service and supply chain schedules to effectively meet customer requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans to support plant and division sales and inventory objectives.
  • Plan and direct the manufacturing of plant project orders through the production cycle and the support and maintenance functions related to production activities.
  • Develop the plant systems, operating schedules, and workloads to ensure the most effective and timely use of production equipment and personnel.
  • Plan and manage training, instruction, and guidance to all plant supervision and other employees as needed.
  • Plan and oversee capital equipment programs for manufacturing, facilities, and information systems.
  • Remain knowledgeable of required personnel related policies and procedures of the company and take action necessary to ensure adherence with required policies, etc.
  • Execute and support ELSS projects
  • Develop and implement effective safety and environmental programs for the facility


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing environment developing and leading strategic business initiatives and projects to improve productivity, quality, inventory, and/or financial targets.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing people
  • Two (2) years of assembly experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering or MBA.
  • Experience within a world class manufacturing organization/plant.
  • Experience scaling operations within a high-growth site.


Skills:

  • Significant experience in day to day process improvement systems
  • Experience with positive employee relations policies and programs
  • Strong customer and interpersonal skills
