The Operations Controller serves as a strategic financial leader responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations that support Boldt's construction business. This role partners closely with operations, project management, project controls, and business development teams to provide financial oversight, reporting, forecasting, and guidance that drive successful project and business outcomes. The Operations Controller leads the project accounting function, ensuring accurate project setup, contract compliance, billing, cash management, job costing, payroll, and financial reporting while supporting the operating group's profitability and long-term growth objectives.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong construction accounting and financial management experience who thrives in a fast-paced project environment. This individual will develop and mentor project accounting teams, provide financial analysis and forecasting for executive leadership, support pricing and contract review activities, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and profitability. What You Bring

Compensation

Target Hiring Range: $157,000.00-$209,000.00 (rounded) annually
Boldt recognizes that experience, expertise, and specialized skills create value. The target hiring range for this position is $157,000.00- $209,000.00 (rounded) annually; however, compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, geographic market conditions, internal equity, and business considerations. In addition to base compensation, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation and participation in applicable company benefit programs.
Candidates whose experience or expertise substantially exceed the requirements of the role are encouraged to apply, as compensation may be reviewed based on individual qualifications.
