Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Operational Metrics and Data Specialist that will be responsible for developing strategies and implement processes to collect, understand, and present business insights. Collects data, analyzes results, and assesses trends to recommend actions and decisions. May build models and automation to support reporting and analysis. Provides leadership to direct and indirect team members.
What you will do:- Identify, collect, and analyze data needed to present business insights to leaders and team members.
- Collaborate and consult with team to understand the data requirements, reporting needed, and deadlines.
- Develop and defines standard analytics and reporting governance and communication and ensures adherence to standards.
- Develop presentations and reporting that helps to visualize the results, recommendations, and forecasts.
- Share analysis with leaders and team members, including recommendations to address identified trends.
- Automate data collection, reporting, and distribution where possible.
- Implement and maintain database systems based on leadership and end-user specifications to advance departmental/organizational data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Build and maintain models to streamline the production and analysis of the insights as well as support business case development and governance.
- Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity.
- Provide leadership to direct and indirect team members.
What you need to:- Bachelor's degree or related education and experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in related role
- Proficient in SQL
- 1-2 years direct experience with Snowflake and Snowflake tools (Streamlit, Snowflake Intelligence/Cortex)
- Experience with data visualization and analysis using report writing tools such as Tableau
- Demonstrates experience in handling large data sets, relational databases and knowledge in building complex data models utilizing multiple sources
- Proven ability to work directly and independently with internal stakeholders to assess data opportunities and risks, gather requirements, and turn requirements into tools that help our stakeholders run the business.
- Applies creative problem-solving to develop innovative, stakeholder-focused solutions that go beyond standard processes.

Compensation:The salary range for this role is $78,000 - $108,000 plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
