Position Description:

We have a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Global Alliance Manager to support the OpenAI alliance within the Global Alliances team. Reporting directly into the VP Global Alliances, you will be primarily responsible for expanding and managing our strategic Partnership.

Are you a self-starter who is comfortable coordinating alliance Partnership activities across multiple business units, able to leverage your extensive network of contacts across OpenAI to help build and elevate the CGI Partnership to the highest status possible within the OpenAI partner network ecosystem?

As CGI's OpenAI Global Alliance Manager (GAM) you will strengthen our partnership and manage our global relationship with OpenAI, driving growth for the organization. You will play a critical role in representing CGI, across relevant OpenAI organizations, ensuring that each Strategic Business Unit (SBU) is aligned and benefits from the alliance.

This position may be located in our Sacramento, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, or San Francisco, CA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

The OpenAI Global Alliance Manager (GAM) role can be a rotational assignment offering a career path into senior operations leadership roles across CGI.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Working closely with your Executive Sponsor, partner counterparts and your SBU Leads to develop the strategic goals, strategies, and direction of the alliance
. Crafting and implementing a Global Partner Business Plan, including member development and marketing, to increase CGI's pipeline, revenue and overall market adoption of OpenAI aligned solutions
. Facilitating smooth working relationships between CGI and the OpenAI Partner and Sales organizations, driving alignment and engagement in key joint target accounts, maintaining the relationship at the global level, and developing the CGI-OpenAI Partner business relationships globally
. Collaborating with the OpenAI global Partner Development Manager (PDM) to define and execute Go to Market (GTM) programs that prioritize industries, define key offerings, and focus on innovation
. Identifying and driving joint sales and marketing opportunities around aligned strategic offerings
. Evangelizing Partner solutions and value proposition internally within CGI and promoting CGI expertise and value within OpenAI as well as CGI clients
. Running regular pipeline, opportunity, and business reviews with PDM and all internal partners
. Supporting CGI in accelerated upskilling and certification, providing guidance to hire required expertise as needed
. Supporting deal activity and working closely with the OpenAI PDM and field sales to position CGI solutions and services
. Maintaining and updating the OpenAI Alliance Partner Portal
. Monitoring progress against the global partner business plan and tracking success against target KPI's including partner aligned bookings and pipeline, partner certifications, partner aligned client success stories, and partner investment and incentives
. Briefing senior executives on the status of our OpenAI partnership and achievements of the strategic growth plan
. Handling Partner concerns and facilitating resolution when needed

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

. Knowledge of OpenAI technology offerings including cloud services, emerging AI offerings and other associated services

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of experience
. OpenAI skills and certifications are beneficial
. Experience working with OpenAI and their alliance partner program
. Extensive experience managing global alliances across multiple geographies and industry sectors with proven track record of driving alliance growth
. Participation and networking in industry and partner forums

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $120,900.00 - $267,800.00.
