Position Description: As a Senior Civilian Labor Analyst, you will support HQMC P&D Budget Execution Division with tasks related to Civilian Personnel Data Analysis, Reporting, and Other Administrative Support Services.
This position is located in our Arlington, Virginia office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Providing comprehensive daily analytical, reporting, and administrative support for the development of civilian personnel budget execution plans, ensuring alignment with overarching strategic objectives, budgetary guidelines, and management priorities
Conducting monthly comparisons of annual civilian personnel financial controls and pay period execution, analyzing variances by Budget Line Item (BLI) and/or Program Element (PE), and providing actionable recommendations for corrective measures and long term prevention strategies
Performing detailed weekly analysis of civilian personnel budget execution and financial reporting trends, utilizing applicable USMC, Navy, or DOD personnel and financial management systems
Analyzing civilian labor execution reports for the Marine Corps, identifying errors and performing root cause analysis, and formulating corrective action plans to enhance data integrity and execution accuracy
Generating and reconciling system reports from DAI, WYPC (or its future successor systems), TFSMS, and HRLink; conducting thorough analysis and reporting findings to the HQMC Civilian Labor Head for strategic corrective action; providing actionable recommendations for addressing anomalies and variances between systems
Providing monthly system support regarding the creation and extraction of civilian labor related execution reports using DAI, TFSMS, and HRLink, in response to DON, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Congressional inquiries, to support, justify, and defend budget estimates and civilian personnel growth
Preparing, evaluating, and monitoring required metrics and status reports as required, ensuring their availability to support senior leadership meetings and briefings within P&R, the DON, OSD, and other external entities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: BS/BA in a relevant field
8+ years in DoD Civilian Labor Execution.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
