About This RoleAnnaly is seeking an Onslow Bay Credit Analyst (Associate) who will be tasked with reviewing diligence reports from various TPRs as well as managing a pipeline of loans by partnering with our correspondent originators and other staff members.The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of relevant diligence experience in the residential mortgage whole loan market, preferably with experience and the ability to manage a pipeline, review diligence reporting to ascertain risk and help assist the Onslow Bay scenario desk all while closely interacting with our correspondent partners, senior staff and our custodian, when necessary.Essential Responsibilities - Main point of contact in conjunction with sales coverage and senior management for specific Reliance Letter originators.
- Review post close diligence reports in a timely manner ensuring all Onslow Bay criteria are met. A thorough understanding of securitization reporting is a requirement.
- Review credit exception requests/scenarios with the ability to determine to accept or deny a request as well as placing conditions if applicable.
- Ability to effectively communicate Onslow Bay's position relating to loan conditions and pipeline statuses.
Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in whole loan transaction management with heavy involvement in reviewing of securitization diligence reports.
- Specific loan-level and process-level knowledge around the acquisition of mortgage loans.
- Non-Agency lending experience preferred (Non-QM, DSCR, Cross Collateralized, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree required
Desired Characteristics:- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and prioritize accordingly
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with Senior Management regarding the progress and results of projects and initiatives
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints
Eligibility Requirements:- Must be willing to work in Dallas, TX on-site four days a week.
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work additional hours as needed to complete deadline driven projects
